The Amicus Committee for GHSHRM reviews pending litigation that may be of special interest to the membership to inform GHSHRM about the litigation and its possible effect on healthcare law in Texas. On occasion, the Amicus Committee makes recommendation to GHSHRM that a pending case involves an issue of such importance to the members that it would be appropriate to retain counsel to file an amicus brief to explain the case's impact on healthcare law in Texas to the court.
