Topic: EMR Implementation: How to Succeed, Not Bleed
Study the annual reports of most of the publicly-traded electronic medical record vendors and you will see that at least half of their revenue comes from professional service fees for installation, integration, support, and training. However, the expensive reality for many hospitals is that implementing an EMR system often costs a few times more than the hospital paid in software license fees. This session examines key change management, decision making, financial planning, organizational planning, project management, and resource allocation principles for success in EMR implementation.

Please RSVP by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28th, 2009.
